Hi, I’m Sammie, the founder of Giifftt.

Whenever a birthday, wedding, baby shower or other special occasion comes around, one of the first questions people ask is, “What would you like?”

When my children had birthdays, I often found myself sending family and friends individual photos and links to the gifts they wanted. It worked, but it was time-consuming, easily lost in messages and made it difficult for everyone to know what had already been purchased.

Traditional gift registries didn’t completely solve the problem either. Most only allowed you to choose gifts from one particular store—but the things we want rarely come from just one place.

I also know how difficult it can be to choose a gift when you want it to feel thoughtful and personal, but you’re simply not sure what to buy. That inspired Giifftt’s Gift Finder, which suggests gift ideas based on someone’s interests, hobbies, favourite brands, personal style and the occasion being celebrated.
